The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police collected more than 1,800 diapers for the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank during a month-long drive that was conducted at all six zones and police headquarters. The donation was presented to Diaper Bank representatives on December 22, at Zone 2 Police Station, Hill District.
Police organizers said: “We are all too familiar with the effect limited resources has on families. Diaper need is critical to healthy development, hygiene and comfort. When we learned about the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank’s work, we wanted to help.”
